Helping students take their next step toward Christ… together.

Stones Crossing Student Ministry exists to help 5th-12th grade students take their next step toward Christ. We believe that the gospel message changes lives, and students have a key role in bringing the gospel to their community. Therefore, our goal is to help each student belong in a community of believers, become like Christ through intentional discipleship and training, and go beyond by engaging their school, community, and the world.

Luke Calvert

Student Pastor

I am blessed with the chance to invest in and lead all of our students (5-12th). When I’m not hanging out with out students, I am with my wife, watching the NBA, or dreaming about going to the next NASCAR race.

Upcoming Events

Transit (5-8th)

Sunday mornings from 9-10:15a in the Student Room

Transit builds upon our students’ foundation of faith by helping them understand what they believe and why they believe it. Through gospel-centered teaching, age and gender-based small groups, music, games, and friendships, students are given their first glimpse into life in the church and how to live everyday as a follower of Jesus.

Motion (9-12th)

Sunday nights from 6-8p in the Student Room

Lifehouse // Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30p in homes throughout the Greenwood area.

We seek to build maturity in our students by teaching them to live out their faith daily and engage the world around them. Each week, students hear how the gospel informs their decisions and spurs them on to live for Christ. In addition, Lifehouse is our mid-week, age and gender-based small groups.

Parent Partnerships

Connecting in student ministry can be helpful for students, but no one has a greater influence in the lives of students than their parents. That’s why partnering with parents is a central focus in our student ministry.

Resources (Coming Soon)

Be on the lookout for student and parent resources to encourage and equip the family to grow in Christ-likeness through the power of the gospel.
