What does it mean to Go Beyond?

The Lord calls us to live BEYOND ourselves by telling others the great news of the gospel message -- that Jesus Christ has bought us with His blood and that He makes us righteous before God. We want to be a church so in love with God for who He is and what He's done that we can't help but love the one in front of us and those around the world.

Reach The Neighborhood

As culture continues its secular progression, attending church continues to become less normal. We believe that we must bring the church to the people by reaching out to those God has put in close proximity to us. There is no better way to do this than by loving our neighbors. We want to be a church that is loved in the community because of the love that is poured out. We aim to be a church where people describe their interactions with us as if they interacted with Christ.

Why We Do Missions

We believe the Gospel must be present in everything we do, so we strive to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the people we serve through our missions. Our goal is to be a church known for ushering in God’s kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. We believe the church is called by God to spread the Gospel throughout the world, and we see the individual call for the followers of Christ to take part in this mission all over Scripture. In Matthew, Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all the nations. In Romans, Paul reminds the church of this same command: “how then will they call on him in whom they have not heard?” We pray that everyone at Stones Crossing Church lives on mission in light of who God is and what He has done for them.

Global Missions

We partner with The 410 Bridge in Chadirac Haiti. The mission of The 410 Bridge is to assist in enabling self-developing capabilities of the people we serve by mobilizing and unifying the body of Christ through holistic, redemptive, community-centered partnerships. We send two teams into Chadirac annually to assist the church in developing their community. In the past, we have been able to assist the people of Chadirac in many ways: building wells and schools, hosting health clinics, training pastors, and among other things, training the people of Chadirac in business development. If you want to hear more about our mission in Haiti or get involved with what we're doing in Chadirac, contact our Missions Pastor, Mitch Green.

El Salvador

We have a long-standing relationship with the Family of Faith church in El Salvador. For the past 20 years, we have been sending missions teams to assist the people in the community, organize and execute children's programming, and provide medical supplies and treatment.
